Group Info

An organized hub for the unofficial, fan-created My Little Pony (G4) Customizable Card Game, or the MLP:CCG. A player faces off against a rival using two or more Mane Characters and an assembled deck, and attempts to earn more Apples than said rival using Actions, Songs, some Pets, the powerful Dark cards, and the game-modifying Quest cards.

What's been going on.

MLPCCG has entered a closed testing phase to better enhance the game. The next time anyone will see the game, it'll be at the completion of the CORE set, and it'll be on OCTGN.

Well, might be on OCTGN. If they start charging for access I cannot use the service.

And people might not see it depending on other legal issues.

I'm basically working on the game to "finish" it for my portfolio.

Physical cards are print-out only.

The game has entered a closed testing period to further improve the game.

Due to some new RL rules to keep the CCG safe, I can no longer post the cards here, which is why this is an empty content group.

Yeah, I got it. The game is actually still somehow going to continue, but as a graduation project. Means I can't post it here.

Weird use, but I'm the definition of weird anyway.

Ive been thinking, and Ive come to a realization that having your win condition and your resources connected might not be a good idea. If you think about it, there are only so many apple earning cards you can put in before it will completely break the game because you can just spam the deck with them. So you'll end up in a position where making new apple earning cards might not be a wise idea, even though its a core part of the game. Am I just being stupid and not really understanding something, or do you think that might become a problem down the line?
